The educational mission of the Department of Internal Medicine is to provide excellent broad-based clinical training in a scholarly environment for future academic leaders. We provide clinical training in all of the disciplines of internal medicine. With respect to our educational mission, Department of Internal Medicine trainees include medical students, graduate students and residents, clinical and research fellows, and postdoctoral fellows.

Excellence in internal medicine requires the development of teaching skills and Imam Reza Hospital is the primary teaching hospital for the Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences School of Medicine.
