Thank you for your interest in our Ophthalmology Residency at Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences Faculty of Medicine and Imam Khomeini Hospital. The philosophy of our training program is to provide a comprehensive introduction to ophthalmology through an in-depth clinical experience. The development of a strong foundation in clinical ophthalmology is the primary responsibility of our residents, but we provide many opportunities for extended research training as a supplement to the clinical training program. We believe that the most effective method of education is by personal contact with physicians who can serve as role models for future careers. This mentoring relationship fosters increasing clinical independence as well as career development. Our graduates are not only excellent clinicians at the end of their training, but they are also encouraged and supported to become the future leaders in Ophthalmology.
