Message from the Head

 The department of physiology is responsible for the education of Physiology as a medicine basic science to the variety of medical students in the Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences.

 Physiology is the branch of biology dealing with the functions and activities of living organisms and their parts, including all physical and chemical processes. Human physiology seeks to understand the mechanisms that work to keep the human body alive and functioning, through scientific enquiry into the nature of mechanical, physical, and biochemical functions of humans, their organs, and the cells of which they are composed.

The academic staff of the department are performing the research in the fields of neuroscience, cardiovascular, renal, endocrine and respiratory physiology.
