 KUMS Radiology is committed to providing outstanding patient care by combining excellence in clinical imaging, research, and educational programs with state-of-the-art technology.

We are a team of dedicated radiologists, clinical and basic scientists, technical staff, physician trainees and talented managers who provide exemplary care to our patients at the demanding service levels expected by our community.

Our Department academic staff and research programs are internationally recognized. We maintain strong interdisciplinary links with other departments within the Medical Center, and the KUMS campus. This strong collaborative interaction between research and clinical practice allows us to rapidly implement new, and sometimes revolutionary, imaging and therapeutic innovations.

Our dynamic physician trainee program balances didactic and practical learning environments with an emphasis on active participation. Residents are exposed to the expanding range of imaging: anatomic and molecular imaging techniques, screening and diagnostic imaging, a wide array of interventional methods, academic and community practice, and current topics in business and operations. The Department also offers interdepartmental advanced graduate degree training programs in Biomedical Physics and Medical Imaging Informatics. Our diverse educational programs provide extensive interdisciplinary research and training opportunities which bring great breadth and depth to our educational mission.
