Research Council Meeting
Schedule The Faculty Research Council
convenes every Sunday from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM. All meetings are held in
accordance with the faculty’s academic calendar and are attended by department
representatives, research supervisors, and council members.
Meeting Agenda
1. Evaluation of Research
Proposals
The Council systematically reviews and
approves all submitted research proposals, including:
- Medical Doctor (MD) thesis proposals
- Specialty and Subspecialty residency research projects
- PhD dissertation proposals
- Master’s (MSc) thesis proposals
Each submission is assessed for
scientific merit, ethical considerations, feasibility, and alignment with
departmental priorities.
2. Policy Discussions and
Special Cases
- Review and update of research-related policies,
guidelines, and procedures.
- Discussion of academic or ethical concerns,
proposal resubmissions, and exceptional cases requiring special approval.
- Coordination with the Ethics Committee, Methodology
Unit, and other faculty offices when needed.
