Process of Reviewing
and Approving Non-Thesis / Research Projects by Faculty Members
1.
Submission of the
completed and signed proposal, along with departmental minutes, through the
Secretariat of the Faculty.
2.
Forwarding the
proposal to two expert reviewers by the Faculty Research Management Office.
3.
Receiving reviewers’
comments through the Faculty Research Management Office.
4.
Editing the proposal
and completing all required signatures.
5.
Obtaining approval of
the revised proposal from the reviewer(s) after fully implementing the
Council’s amendments, and submitting the approved version to the Faculty
Research Management Office through the university research information system.
6.
Receiving ethical
approval for the research from the University/Faculty Ethics Committee.
7.
Signing the research
contract arrangement by the University Vice President for Research and
Technology and the researcher.
8.
Commencing the
research project.
Documents Required for Submission of the Non-Thesis / Research
Project Final Report
1.
Official letter from
the researcher stating the title of the research
project, accompanied by a CD containing the final report file of the
research project.
2.
Copy of the proposal
approval agreement/contract.
