Approval Process

a) Residents, MSc, and PhD Students
1.
Submission of the Application
Form for Thesis Subject Examination along with departmental meeting minutes
to the Faculty Research Management Unit.
2.
Uploading the
proposal file and required documents to the University Research Information
System (Pajouhan).
3.
Attendance of the
student/resident and supervisor at the Faculty Research Council meeting on the
appointed date.
4.
Receiving the
Council’s comments through the Pajouhan System.
5.
Submission of the Supervisor
and Student Commitment Form to the Faculty Research Management Unit.
6.
Uploading the revised
proposal and all required documents to the Pajouhan System.
7.
Final approval of the
proposal by the University/Faculty Ethics Committee.
8.
Arrangement of the
research contract by the Vice Chancellor for Research and Technology of the
University.
b) General Medical
Students
Proposal Review in the
Faculty
1.
Submission of the Application
Form for Thesis Subject Examination plus departmental minutes to the
Faculty Research Management Unit.
2.
Uploading the
proposal file and required documents to the Pajouhan System.
3.
Receiving reviewer
comments through the Pajouhan System.
4.
Submission of the Supervisor
and Student Commitment Form to the Faculty Research Management Unit.
5.
Uploading the revised
proposal and necessary documents to the Pajouhan System.
6.
Final approval of the
proposal by the University/Faculty Ethics Committee.
7.
Arrangement of the
research contract by the Vice Chancellor for Research and Technology of the
University.
Proposal
Review in Clinical Research Centers
1.
Submission of the Application
Form for Thesis Subject Examination along with departmental minutes to the
Faculty Research Management Unit.
2.
Uploading the
proposal file and required documents to the Pajouhan System.
3.
Review of the
proposal by the respective clinical research center.
4.
Submission of the Supervisor
and Student Commitment Form to the Faculty Research Management Unit.
5.
Uploading the revised
proposal and necessary documents to the Pajouhan System.
6.
Final approval of the
proposal by the University/Faculty Ethics Committee.
7.
Arrangement of the
research contract by the Vice Chancellor for Research and Technology of the
University.
