Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali Akbar Parvizifard has been a faculty member and head of the Department of Clinical Psychology at Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences since 2012. He received his bachelor's degree in clinical psychology from Ahvaz Jundishapur University in 1992 with honors. In 1993, he worked as the director of the Department of Clinical Psychology at Farabi Psychiatric Hospital affiliated to Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences. He also received his master's degree in clinical psychology in 1999 from Iran University of Medical Sciences (Tehran Institute of Psychiatry). Dr. Parvizifard graduated from the National University of Malaysia (UPM) in 2012 with Ph.D degree in Counseling Psychology with honors and continued to work as a faculty member of the Department of Clinical Psychology at Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences.
